For cyclists who want to maintain their fitness, during inclement weather and when there is no light for cycling safely on the streets, a rear-wheel mounted bicycle trainer is the perfect solution. A rear-wheel mounted bicycle trainer converts the bicycle into a stationary bicycle giving the benefit of training on their bicycle.

Blackburn Design is a manufacturer of bicycle accessories whose main business was products for carrying weight on bicycles: like bicycle mounted racks, and bottle cages. The Blackburn Design TrakStand was the first a-frame rear wheel mounted bicycle trainer that utilized a flywheel to smooth out the ride.
