Bicyclists carry mini pumps in cases of flat tire while on the road or even at home. BlackBurn Design is a manufacturer of bicycle accessories whose main business was products for carrying weight on bicycles, like bicycle mounted racks, and bottle cages.

The BlackBurn Design MP-1 mini pump was the first high capacity mini pump. The pump was capable of achieving pressures up to 120 PSI. The bi-directional pumping action allowed for a large volume air per stroke.
